Went to Ft Gibson today to watch the pro's and saw Skeet and Mikes new boats. I thought Skeet was still fishing out of his old champ, but it had "Stratos" on the back where the ChampioN emblem would be. Couldn't tell, looked like a Champ to me.

Same boat diffrent decals, saw pictures from last week on Ky Lake. I am assuming that it is part of the new sponsorship deal that they had to logo the boat for the rest of this year.
I personally talked to Skeet at Tennesse Triumph,after he autographed my 7 year old grandsons Champion cap and his Skeet t- shirt.I asked him when he would get his new boat.he said not until fall.

I'm sure they just peeled off the Champ stickers and put Stratos stickers on it.
BBC member lakefolk posted some pics of the sooner run event and there are some of Skeet and Mikes boat and both have champion on them.
They are not going to build the Stratos/ChampioN Elites until sometime in July. And they are going to "look like Champs" because they are using the ChampioN molds. They are supposed to be the very same 183, 202 and 210 that we are used to.
Seen Skeet's boat this morning and there is a small Stratos sticker where the Champ logo should be, kind of made me sick. Still has Champ logo's on console and he was still wearing his Champ life jacket. Would post pics but not sure how.

McClelland still has Champ logo on boat but I don't know if he signed with Stratos, Morizo Shimuzu still has logo as well.

Ok, I wondered if thats all they did was just slap a Stratos sticker on it.
We watched Skeet, KVD, Ike, Guy Eaker, Mike, Biffle and a few others fish. Its amazing how some of these guys could breakdown and dissect a lake so fast. Except for Biffle of course since its his home lake. Some guys had never been on the lake before except for the one day practice and they were still bringing in big sacks of fish. I know Gibson got a good fishery, buts pretty impressive!
Watched the weigh-in today and got a ton of pics, these guys really do appreciate their fans. It is impressive that they can do this well on a lake which they said they really only had about a half a days practice. Didn't get Ike's pic since he left early after being eliminated but got a bunch of others. Anyone that says these guys don't have athletic ability should have to spend a day like today doing what they do, it was HOT!!!!!!!
