Thanks for your help guys! Just wanted to post pics of my install. The hardest part was having the guts to make the first cut!

The install looks great I can't remember, but was thinking you have a 186 very similar to mine. How much room is between the front of the tray and the pedestal for the butt seat? I want to add a tray, too, and was curious about the distance and if it would be comfortable or not.

    Re: T/m tray install (rodnreel)

Rodnreel, after I centered up my template I measured 1 1/2 inches from the front corners and it gave me enough room to be comfortable and I can still use my but seat.

Sounds like plenty of room then. Still debating on whether I like the butt seat or not. The lake I fish typically doesn't have very rough water since it is so small so I'm thinking I probably won't even use it that much. Thanks for the info

That's the only reason I haven't purchased one yet!

It's not that bad just make sure you are centered I used my pedastol and front nav light to determine the center had it out yesterday and love it

    Re: T/m tray install (ChampioN24)

I didn't have the guts to do it myself or watch so I had a good buddy of mine that owns a body shop do it here in Leander Texas. It turned out great and looks great. We had our first chance to use it here in Texas on Choke Canyon over the weekend and its very comfortable and actually feels like I have more room than less without the pedal sticking up in the air. I also use a butt seat.

He installed the Pro-Control from Poly Fab.

Next item to be installed is the moose head rod rack.
