Question for the Champion people???

2007 Champion 200. Can a second console be added to these models and what is your take on the boat? Has a 225 Pro XS Merc. w/ less than 80hrs. 25p Tempest. Is this a decent rig and what kind of price would you say should be on this boat? I know the Champion boats are known for their ride and handling but never had much experience with them. My uncle has a 1987 Champion that I have had quite a bit of seat time in but I know that is probably no comparison to a newer model. His rides great and he loves it though. Thanks in advance for the help.

A second console can be added...if you can find one. They are not building them at the moment, but it is possible someone has an extra matching one they are not using...or a dealer may have one.

Check the 4 sale listings for approximate price. NADA is going to be low and won't allow for electronics, etc.

Has the owner given you info on performance numbers, etc? Some 07s performed better than others. I think there was a slight change to the hull in later 07s which improved performance (speed was slightly increased). I ran one when they first came out and really liked it.

Thats a great boat. as lea said you can add a second console, i would love to sell you mine but they changed the consoles back in 05 i think. I think C and O has some for sale, i swear i just saw them online for them. Good luck to you.

I have an 08 Champ 200 with 225 Pro XS. Don't know about selling price, but can tell you about the boat. Best I have seen is 70 mph with a 26 Tempest plus, before it was worked by Mark. Also have a 25 Tempest plus for the summer months.
I love the handling of the boat. I have been on some really nasty stuff on Sam Rayburn, but never been worried about making it back. The only time I have gotten wet in the boat is when there was it was really bad and the wind was blowing the splash back on me. I was on Toledo Bend and had to stick to the boat lanes, so couldn't avoid the wind to stay dry. Overall, I have never second guessed my decision to buy the boat. There is tons of storage and the boat fishes great.
