I haven't posted to this site in awhile, but in February I bought my second Champion that being a 203CX with a 300 Yamaha VMAX. I love Champions having owned a 168 for almost 20 years before I bought this newer one.
Anybody have a similar setup or any concerns with this model?

Congratulations on the new boat!!! I too jumped from a 168 (my third) to a 203 several years ago.

Yes, it's a beauty and a beast. Right now I have hit 70 but the previous owner got near to 80MPH with a power prop. It is a heavy great riding boat and speed is not a concern, but it's nice to know that you can go if you need to.
