    Live Well Pump size

My live well pump needs replacing. It's in a 95 202. I think the pump that's in it now is a Mayfair 500GPH, at least that's what it looks like it says. Any thoughts on getting a bigger one or is 500gph enough? Any tricks to removing the old pump or instaling the new one? Thanks in advance.

It should be a 500 gph and that is sufficient. Be sure and clean all the RTV off the inside and outside the pad around the hole and reseal around the pump tube with a waterproof RTV.

Thanks. Is 3M's 5200 a good choice for a sealant?

4200 would probably be better. You might want to take it apard one of these days ...
