    Diamond Program ?

Im fishing the Bassmaster Weekend Series this year in my old 88 201, 2 of the tournys I am expecting to do fairly well in as they will both be on my home water. Now having said that Im not sure even if I could afford to buy a new rig that I would, and if I did, it would for sure 100% be another champ needless to say my whole family and I are partial to Champs. Now all of the champs (4)in my family are 201's 91 and prior though. Should I still even though I cant qualify for the program spend the money out of my pocket to order champ tourny shirts to advertise for a brand of boat I believe in ? I guess this is more less a what would you do type question. I feel the best advertisement for these boats are the older ones still floating w/ their awesome paint schemes that where ( and I think still are )the prettiest in the industry.I have alot of comments on my boat wondering what year it is and if it was paited after market.
If I wanted to buy a newer boat to qualify for contegency money what model would be the best to replace my 201? Where would be the best place to buy one and I wonder what mine would be worth for trade?

the way I read it is if you win in your boat as it stands now you get $500.00 from ChampioN.

i'd try calling customer service....tell them how you feel and you may be able to work something out in regaurds to the dimond program. Your right the best form of advertising is there floating history you KNOW what quality is as you live it and said live for it when good anglers preach about how amazing there boat is even as its aged it shows how good the product is as for buying a new champ....rick james i bought my boat from them they are great people and a board sponsor ask for dan york or todd (937 773 6100 extention 1181 they have many great boats (a ton on the floor all styles and some great demos) tell them chris from cleveland told you to call
