My friend has a 89 201(i'm guessing) WIth a 200hp johnson on it. They bought it pretty bad condition and repaired the transom. Well now their patch has come off and the transom is cracked all the way through the fiberglass I guess, I haven't seen it but it doesn't sound good. Not sure about the carpet, but I'm sure its not pretty. The motor runs good however. They are buying another champ and no dealer will take it on trade in.
My 97 202 with a bad transom was worth $800.00 on trade
If I owned that boat, I would sell the motor and try to part out the boat, then sell the trailer.
If he wants to go that route, I might be interested in some of the 201 parts... so send me an IM, hopefully with pics of the boat.

the boat colors are black and blue. Not sure the interior stuff, but I'll see if I can get him to take some pics of what he's got.
