FRont cover for depth finder hole

Thought I saw something on here once before on this but can't find it. I have a Lowrance dept finder siliconed in the nose of my 196. I am thinking about removing it and mounting a newer one on a Ram mount on the deck. Does anyone know where I can get some kind of plate or cover to put in the square hole when I remove the existing depth finder? Thanks

Thanks Lea, can I find them on their website or do I have to call them? Looked on their site but if they're there I can't find them.

I've seen them on the site, but easiest to call.,. Talk with Carol. She is really good with their stock!

if you can find or fab up something to fit, that hole might be a good spot to put a little "go to" box for baits, tools, and knick knacks you want to keep on deck.

Anybody got any recent expamples of how they solved this problem? I just picked up a 2000 203 with the holes in it. I would like to cover them and then mount a quick attach or ram mount on top of the plates. May just end up making something out of diamond plate aluminum. Thanks in advance.

whoops......I didn't realize this was posted like ten years ago!!!! waldodog, how big of a hole do you need to cover? and how big of a plate can you fit in the space? I removed a cover from my new boat in order to mount an hds-7 in that space. i'll send it to you if you can use it. but beware....it actually has a ranger p/n on the back...lol
