Front locator

I just installed a Lowrance Lcx 111 CHD at the console and plan on putting my Lowrance 332 up front. I would like to put it on a ram mount but what do I do about the hole up front? What have other champion owners done? Pics would be great.

You must work in HR. They are always perfect.

Yep tell them you need to talk to the hole coverupper department they'll put you right through.

I got a piece of wood at walmart in the crafts section and painted it red. Used caulk to hold it on....$1.50.

Definitely get in touch with C&O. Putting the bow unit on a ram mount is a very good idea. I have had 2-87's on my 198 front bow get fogged up because water lays on the screen during some very wet fishing days this past year. I think the combination of the vibration/pounding the bow takes combined with the fact that the units probably need to be at more of an angle than the boat allows...contributed to the problem. The next unit on mine will be Ram mounted. I think Luke had a few photos of his bow unit that looked good!

I have upgraded the trolling motor but the GPS Rec. still is magnetized to the mount.

The antenna in the gator mount is slick. I've never seen that one before.

Brett-that is one of my favorite color schemes for the Champ! Beautiful. I also like the reverse of those two colors with the white where the silver/gray is. Thanks for the pics. Maybe one day I can trade in my old Champ and that would be my colors. Enjoy!
