I am sure that someday, in as much as I love my 187, that I will get a newer Champ. However, I can't make any decisions until I actually sit in a newer Champ and compare it to what I already have. I would like to know if anybody knows of a dealer close to me here in South Dakota. So far our new sponsor, Brightwell's, is 624 miles. That's do-able. Is there anything even closer?

Go to http://www.championboats.com Choose Freshwater. At the top of that page you will see dealer locater. Put in your zipcode. I doubt the 3 newest are there yet, but you know where they are already....
I did that before and got Gander Mountain in Denver. Do you think they have boats on display, or are they just an outlet that you can order from? I just assumed they wouldn't have display boats.

Rats...Gander did have display boats, but no longer carry Champs...

Nichols has a series of stores in the mid west.....OK, TX for sure.....they do a lot of Champs and have for a long time.

I think Brightwell's is going to be the closest. I haven't looked at Minnesota, which is where my boat came from, but Brightwell's is close enough for a decent road trip. Do they have a website with their inventory on it?

They may have boats on order, which have not yet arrived. They have 2 locations...Urbandale and Polk City (Saylorville Marina).
There are no dealers in MN right now.
Check Brightwell's site and maybe call them to see what they have coming in and when...

Ozawkie Marine is just west of Kansas City....I would think to go there before Oklahoma or Texas. 'ozawkieboats.com'
