Anybody know the length of the trailer and boat combined for a Champion 221 elite (1996)? Mainly for storage purposes. It does have a swing away tongue.

Remind me via IM tonight. All my older brochures are at home... I have duplicates of '05-'08 here in office...
However, this should get you close...The 223 with motor down and tongue retracted is 25' 10", according to the '05 brochure. Without tongue retracted, 27'6"...
OK, the '96 brochure does not show. The '97 thru '99 (last yr for 221) brochures show 28' 1", but no retractable tongue. It's a bit confusing, since the 223 shows as shorter on full trailer than does the 221....Wish I could be of more help!
If my memory serves me correctly, my 1996 Champion 221 total package length is right around 28 feet. Thats with the motor lowered, and the tongue extended. If you need a better measurement, I'll be happy to lay a tape down when it stops raining.

Jeremy! That means the brochure which showed 28'1" was pretty accurate...
Some of the older ones were not...
It's long. Don't forget to add whatever jackplate is there as well.

The brochures include JP size, motor down and tongue retracted (when applicable) when they show length...
