    Broken Heart

I just got back from Oklahome fishing with Brad and his 191. While that is a super clean/fast ride, I was really missing the size/room of my 198. I had the trolling motor shipped to Jones Trolling motor's for repair just before leaving to OK. It was still under warranty for about 2 weeks. Had about $400 of work done at no charge. Get back from OK, and find my trolling motor on the door step. I get it hooked up and it is as good as new. Not sure if was ever this smooth or powerful. I get to the lake and drop it in the water and it takes off. No foot on the pedal or anything. Just takes off. I guess I gotta send it back again. Again, no boat for me for a while. Did run the boat anyway. Pretty hot and humid. Me and all my tackle. Ran 72.7 in miserable conditions

I am sure. It went off as soon as the head came out of the water. Then worked normal. Then I barely put it in the water and it took off again.

Well, it's fixed for now....We'll see how long it lasts.

Lea, I love this baot. Glad it's only TM problems and not boat or motor problems. Always something with owning a boat though.

Talked to Jones @ Jones Trolling motors and one of the wires inside the cap had a nick in the plastic shrink wrap....I wrapped it with electrical tape. Hope it's good to go now.
