Drop a bar of soap back there and it will stay clean.Whenyour bilge pumps kick on it the rain it does look a little strange.

I've heard that is a good idea, but what about soap scum?
hit it with a pressure washer and it will blast most of the scum right off
I use Castrol de-greaser spray it down in there and let it set up for a bit then hose it down. Let it dry, put in the drain plug and repeat pump it out with your bilge pumps.
