So i went to the lake this last weekend and when i got home i was backing the boat in to the garage and i backed it up like 10 ft, had to go move something and walking past the hitch their is a black cap on the front of the trailer, i think under it is cylinder for the brake fluid or something. But it was leaking oil? Could this possibly be overflow or do i need to get that replaced? Im guessing i can still tow with it, ill just have weak trailer brakes. Any help is appreciated!

Yep, the trailer forum has all the good answers and diagrams of your brake system. There are a lot of knowledgable folks there.
Your system is more than likely leaking brake fluid ( it *will* eat the paint on your trailer ). That's can be caused by a multitude of reasons, and the trailer forum can give you a troubleshooting path to go thru.
However they will appreciate things like what year it is ( trailer designs vary ), did you just get it or have you had it for years??, do you have the reverse solenoid wired for operation ( round plug or 5pin flat I think, not the 4 pin flat for sure ), what is the level of the fluid now?? ( turn the black cap, the resesrvoir is under there ).
You probably can tow it, but do be very careful, as it is no fun to have a boat get away from you at any speed.
