    I Think I Have a Convert!

Last week I let my friend and fishing partner borrow my Champ 206 while his boat was in the shop. He is(was) a big-time Skeeter fan and currently fishes from a 2006 20i. The next morning when he brought my boat back, his first comment was "Wow - I had no idea your boat would ride and drive like that!" There were some pretty big swells on Rayburn that evening and he got a taste of that Champion rough water ride. He freely admitted that the 20i wasn't a match for the 206 in the rough stuff. His next comment - "Wonder how much it would take to get me into a 210?". I give him a lot of credit - its not often someone will admit such a thing!
Any Skeeter owners who read this - please do not take this as me bashing Skeeters or the 20i! I have fished from my friend's 20i many times and it is a fine boat with many great features, fishes great and will certainly leave me in the dust on a calm day.

That's going beyond the call of duty to loan out your boat for the 'Ride & Decide' challenge You must trust that guy a lot I let people check out the ride all the time... but I'm in the boat with them at all times

No, Dennis you are not bashing another Brand, and I respect you for that. When you buy a Champion you buy the boat for certain features. Number one for me is the dry and comfortable ride, #2 Workmanship,#3 the locker room and design. Now on the other hand I don't have the wood grain and all the little pretty trinkets that don't pertain to catching fishing. I have bought (2) in (6) years and can't be more pleased. Oh yea and I won't out run you, but you won't leave me either.

When I read, "l loaned out my boat...." I instantly thought " I don't know ANYONE who I would loan out my boat to!"" hahahah I thought that was funny, but really cool too. Like has been said before, you have to ride in one to really appreciate it. I have a 10 year old boat in what I would consider very good condition... I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love my ChampioN... I'd marry it if I could!!! just kidding.
