206 ELITE W/MERC OPTI VALUE?

I am still helping my buddy buy a champ...He is now looking at a 206...Chime in on pricing, things to look out for, ect. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated

Sounds good with only 65 hours...but check the Champions in the Boats4Sale forum here on BBC, as well as Boattraderonline and other sites for priciing...

225 is a little bit of a dog. Much better w/ a 250. You did not say what HP.

From what I have read nothing will push this giant beast ...70 is not too bad I guess if you can get that loaded w/250 opti...I really am starting to doubt you can get that...I used to have a 02' Skeeter ZX 200 w/ 2.6 Hpdi....Now that thing was a dog ..two guys fuel and livewells 62-63 best I ever saw loaded..usually 59-60..If you want a (206) cadillac rough water boat with landing decks you give up something I guess..

I would never run a 206 with a 225. It is a pig with my 250 Yammie but is respectable at 67-68. I bet resale is tougher with a 225. It is a great and stable hull and I do love the boat. JMO.
