Ok, I havent hand a chance to look for my pumps so I figured I would go ahead and throw this one there.

My 1983 Champion that I bought third hand has an 1982 Evinrude 150 V6 on it. It ran good a few months ago when I bought it. It has set since then and I am just now getting weather and time so I am going through the boat to learn it. The motor sat up with all the gas ran out of the carbs and I don't think I will have any problems cranking it up. The only issue I have seen so far is the tilt not wanting to go down or acting irractic. I checked and it needs fluid so I think that will fix that. No visible leaks on my concrete. Anyway, I am new to this class of motor . beyond this, my experience is with a 25hp and under . so I am curious about thoughts about this model motor, maintenance advice, or simply anything you may tell a newbie. I don't have any idea what size prop is on it either. Like I said . it ran good when I bought is . much faster than anything I am used to . . so now in prepping for consistant usage, I am eager for learning advice. Thanks as usual.
