Playing with my new GPS (Garmin Ique) and it verified the "speedo" speed from low end 15mph til max for me 45mph within 1 or 2 mph on my 1992 Cajun Esprit 1650 with 120hp Johnson.
Is it common to get this much agreement between spedo and gps?
How does this compare to other Cajun performance?
My Ricky Green shows on speedo 60mph WOT. On GPS though its 56.4mph.
Thats w/a 150 Mariner, 2 people and all our fishing gear and about 1/2 tank of gas. I've never done it with just me, but I suspect I probably gain about 1 or 2 mphs. At WOT I probably only get about 3 to 4 miles/gallon though, which is why I keep it around 4500rpms unless a storm blows up.
