Get the tire and wheel as a unit. Tire comes already mounted and all you need to do is fasten it to the boat. Getting a 5 bolt trailer wheel should fix you up. Car wheels often have different bolt patterns and not all will fit. They are sold at lots of places like Wally World, Fleet Farm, Tractor Supply, Cabelas, BPS, etc, etc.

    Here are some examples:

    Re: wheel Size (goose)

First of all you need to measure the size of the center hub hole. (They run different sizes.) Then you need to measure the distance center to center of the bolts. With these two measurements any junk yard man can fix you up.

What you need to know about buying a wheel: The hole in the wheel should fit snugly over the raised center of the hub. This is where the weight of the load should be carried. If you get a wheel with too large of a center hole, the weight is carried on the lug nuts and that is not good. O.K., it will get you to town to get the tire fixed but you don't want to run it that way. The only purpose of the lugs is to hold the wheel to the hub, not to carry the load.
