hi new here would like to know goods and bads for a 93 evinrude intruder 175 im all ears ? good motors ? long lasting ? power? mechanical problems? also what oil would you recomend

This is a good motor that will have few if any problems.

Run the xd-50 oil.

Wicked little motor would run the snot out of a short Champ, Stratos or Cat, Less than 20'er. They did run pretty good on the Jav's and some 201 pro's. If you can find a set of hot (deleted by Rusty) then it will rock!
