    180 ProV - 190 ProV

Ok guys, I have a couple of questions. I'm considering a new boat and going over the Blazer website I noticed that the 190 ProV is less than 22 feet long on the trailer but the 180 is over 24 feet??? Does the 180 not have a swing away tongue? I don't think I've ever seen a 19 foot boat that short on the trailer. I didn't think I could ever own anything more than a 18ft/150hp combo with the size of my garage but this just might get me in to a 19ft/200hp rig........and, it's a BLAZER!

Does anyone know how wide the 180 and 190's are at the trailer tires? I believe my garage door is about 104".

    Thanks for the info guys.

You can order the swing away tongue, it's not standard. My 202 trailer width tire to tire and about 95 inches.
I have seen some guys with short garage's trim down their motor and get the swing away tongue and the fit pretty good.
To know exactly how long your boat will be would depend on what size jack plate you got.

I'm not a real speed demon, so the standard 6 or 8" jack plate would be plenty for me.

Is it REALLY only 95" at the outside of the tires? That is awesome! I may just go Blazer shopping down south next spring!

Anyone put a 200Vmax SHO on one of the 190's yet?

Just keep in mind with the jack plates that Blazers need at least 12inches of set back to perform. I'm not sure about the 190's, but the 202's usually do best with 15 in of set back. A 6 or 8 in would not be a good set up for the 190 IMO!!

All Blazer boats come standard with a 10 in. jackplate. The 190 peforms just fine with the 10 in plate, but if you want the best top end, go with the 15 in. plate. The 200 SHO on a 190 that is set up properly should run mid 70's with an awesome holeshot.

I am with John202 on this one, i couldn't see having a new boat without a garage to keep it in, when we were looking for a new house that was my only stipulation to the wife, boat had to be in the garage.
