    Blazer owners???

I am close to closing a deal on a 03 210 with 250 ox66. The rig is in great condition...Just looking for some feedback from you guys as to your Blazer experiences. I know she is fast but how will she do in the rough stuff? Will I be satisfied with the quality and longevity? Does anyone know if in 03 a swing or drop tounge was standard?

You will like the ride for sure. The swing tounge was not standard so if u got one thats good for you.Almost all Blazer guys here like to try several props and adjust engine height to get the most out of their rig. Just read the post and chime in whenever you want, you will get a responce. Welcome

i have a 97' ox66 225 ...knock on wood i have never had a single problem with it. fear is right, the o2 sensor is very finicky. in my opinion the key to this motor is every other tank i run a bottle of ring free and have had no troubles. good luck

If you run 87 Chevron gas you will never have a problem(clean the o2 sensor first)I will run a bottle of sea-foam every few tanks just to be sure, but the gas is the key.

    Re: Blazer owners??? (bluegambler)

The early ox66's had a water pickup issue, but that's been taken care of. They tried 3 or 4 different inlet plate designs to resolve it. I only know cuz my first 02' 250 ox66 went up with only 3 hours on it due to overheat. Come to find out there was a service bulletin out before I picked the boat up new. They let it go out and it was never changed out! The OX66 is a tough motor though, probably stronger than the hpdi. Thirstier too!

    Re: Blazer owners??? (keithbass2609)

I run a 02 210 with the 250 OX66 and love it. I would hate to know how many hours are on that motor with ZERO problems. Most of the hours are at wide open throttle also and I fish 5 days a week 9 months of the year.

The 210 will handle the rough stuff real well. I am out in 3-4 footers regularly and it handles it great if you drive it right.

    Re: Blazer owners??? (JeffinParadise)

Jeff I hear ya. I work about 5 min. from the boat ramp so when working I am in the water every afternoon.

I also do some guiding so that keeps the weekends pretty booked up. It sounds like alot of fun but it can get old sometimes.
