I talked to Arthur tonight and thought I would give everyone an update on my son Scott's condition. He has lesions on his brain from a Demyelinating Disease but we are not sure which one he has yet and they can range from a one time event to very bad. The good news after 2.5 hours in a MRI machine and a spinal tap last Wednesday they found the disease has not spread to his spinal column.

He spent 5 days in the hospital enduring daily IV treatments for this and it made him really sick. When they say they are going to make him sick to get better it's all fine and good until you see it because nothing prepares you to see your child like that. We got to bring him home on Sunday but ended back at the hospital yesterday morning because he was so sick. They told us this sickness was 99% from the treatments not the disease. He got to feeling better and they let us take him yesterday and this morning he was able to get up and actually spent most of the day on the sofa watching TV. It has been like the world off me seeing him up again and actually hungry.

Scott has a great pediatric neurologist Dr. Livingston who works very closely with the National Pediatric Neurology Center in Birmingham, AL. where we may have to go to get Scott completely diagnoised. Dr. Livingston called today to check on Scott and was glad to hear he was doing better but reminded me we still had to find out where we are with the disease so I continue to ask for your prayers for Scott.
