Looking at purchasing a 2005 202 blazer and need some advice

The boat has a 2005 mercury Verado. Is this motor to heavy for the boat. What kind of handling / sppeds do you think it will hit?

Does anyone here have that set-up? How does this boat perform in big water? Does it compare to a champion?

I only know of one 202 that was Verado equipped. It was in the Pensacola area and the owner kept it for about 6 months. I got the impression that the balance was not "right" and the handling was not what was expected. The 250 Mercury Verado is HEAVY over 600 lbs. if my memory is correct. If you look real close when you on the water you won't see a Verado that often.

This is a White boat with Red/Black striping. It's a beautiful looking boat, but the same as you guys I am uneasy about the verado set up. It is a 2005 275 hp Verado. In general , how does the blazer do in 2 footers?
