I have a 2006 190prov and love it. It has a 2002 200xs on the back and with tourney load and just me 74 is pretty easy, mine has little setup time. Great fishing platform.
I'm pretty sure you'll get a few votes to go Blazer on this forum.![]()
Discipline is the key, if you can't hack it, pack it!
I can set you up with a nice 20' Blazer. It is listed on the boats for sale page. shoot me an email if you have any ?'s.
For what it's worth (not selling it) just some info on Blzr...I have an 07' 20' 202 w a 250 hpdi on it. I came out of a 198 Champion. It seems to be a robust boat. It's a little narrow up front, but how much room do you need? It's good around docks and seems to float real shallow. It's light, so pulling around in the trash with an 80 lb trolling motor is easy as long as its a Minn Kota. For a small 20 fter, it doesn't seem to rock when going from side to side.
They're plenty fast and you don't have to worry about getting beat to your favorite spot (unless there's an alli or bullet around) then you better put on your track shoes. Well, if there's an A-boat around you better just figure on fishing you're second best spot first!
The best advice...cuz everyone is going to tell you to buy their brand or sell you their boat...go drive one of each of your targeted brands and then buy whatever one you like best and go fishin'!

Well said DougEveryone can tout their brand but the biggest thing to remember in today's market with the internet and all, nobody can build junk and stay in business. Look at a few boats and narrow down the size boat with the options and layout you like, choose the horsepower you want and see if you can find a ride in a similar boat package...
I will be listing my 01 210 pro-v on here when I pull it out of storage and get pics.
Unless you fish big waters like the Great Lakes and even on those large lakes a 202 Blazer is a great all around choice for a 20 foot class bassboat. With a 225 merc you will get 75ish and a 250 merc XS will be 80ish speeds in a boat that is quite stable and won,t take long to learn to drive. The storage is quite good and fishability is excellent. The front deck is a bit narrower than a Ranger/Stratos/Nitro/Skeeter/Triton type but it seems perfectly balanced that way and because the stern is very wide compared to the bow ; two anglers can move anywhere they want without disturbing each other at all. The boat sits quite low in the water at rest minimizing the sailboat effect which seems to make the trolling motor batteries last much longer than a normal bass boat. Not only that; they are reasonably priced; great looking and there is not usually 10 more like them in your area.![]()
I have an 08 Triton 196 with 200 optimax with about 15 hours on motor. email jonmay@baytitle.com if interested
that triton 196 is a good bass rig. my next boat will most likely be a blazer 202 with a 225 . im running a ranger now.........although it 22 years old...............
I have a 02 202 with 250 yamaha on the sale board I can make you a deal on. Check it out.
