    Today is a Sad Day

Today is not a good day. I've just gotten word that Don Ray Oswalt, a member of the Grammer Marine Pro Staff, was killed in an auto accident in Bessemer late yesterday afternoon. Details are sketchy but, it seems he ran up on a construction site on I-59 too fast, flipped his vehicle and was ejected.

When I can get more details I will post them.

Don Ray was a fine man, a friend and a great asset to Blazer Boats. He will be very missed.

"For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the Kingdom was lost."

It sounds as though..."For want of a seatbelt a good man was lost."

Too sad. My prayers for those left to grieve and for Don's eternal happiness in company of Our Lord.

Maybe we can all learn from this, whether it be seatbelts, PFDs, or kill switches.
