It needs to be replaced.. Law requires it to be there... Also you need to make sure that it hasn't set your brakes.. Replacing it isn't difficult if you know how.. Do you have a UFP coupler or ?? What yr. is your Sabre?
My Sabre is a 2006. It looks like I will have to disconnect the brake line from the reservoir and slide the coupler out to get to the cable.

You may..Do you have pivot tongue? Another option would be to run it up here and we can fix you up..Parts in stock and have plenty of experience on them...Sherm
