Hi gang,

I own a 2004 Pantera Classic. I will be doing some rewiring up front and wanted to get some advice recommendations. I am not particularly savvy when it comes to electrical stuff.

First, I bought a Hydrowave last weekend and plan on installing it this week. I want to run power straight to the battery I have for my graphs. That said, I am not necessarily opposed to running it to the cranking battery. Is there a block or something behind the panel where the trolling motor plugs in that is designed for installing 12V accessories like a Hydrowave (or the graph)? The graph that is up there now has wires running to a hole on the right side of the foot pedal well and I was planning on just using that to run wires if I go straight to the battery.

Second, at some point in the next year I will be upgrading the front graph. Best I can tell, the transducer (glassed in) appears to be about where the drain is behind the Hamby's. My next graph will have the transducer on the trolling motor (easier for me to dropshot, etc.) What should I do about the transducer cord? Cut it or leave it?

Thanks and any other thoughts or words of advice are appreciated.
