Front deck drain hole question?

Can I install a Ram Mount in front of that hole on the right side corner of the deck just in front of the console?

As long as you don't cover up the hole I don't see why it would be a drainage problem but if that thing flew off at high speeds it could get ugly......

I bought one the heavy duty ram mounts, i hope it works out for me. The standard place to put gps is way to small for the hds 10, I am not sure that the hds 8 would even fit in that small space. It really is my only option to put there. You have any ideas of where else i could mount it?

Can you mount the ram mount in the standard location and just roll it out some to fit?

I was thinking the same thing, mount the ram mount in the console "place" and let it extend outward enough for the unit to fit????
