    todays plan.

i plan, as soon as i get off work and make it to the ramp, to find a good level spot to level my boat, measure my pad height, the my prop shaft height so i know where even with the pad is on my jack plate. Then level my cav plate and find out where neutral is on my trim gauge.

I think knowing where my marks are, should help me to know where i am when trying to drive. as it stands now, all i know is the seller told my son to tell me, if you ever go past this mark here running fast at all, it too high. But i have no idea what that line represents in real numbers.

I wanna make a few passes to see if i can get my speed up a lil bit. Then off to a crappie hole.

You probably know this but the easiest way is to unhitch the boat and use the jack to raise/lower to get the boat level.
