XTB-21 with Opti 2.5 XS, sportmaster lower unit, Allison 6" plus Bob's 6" hydraulic jackplates. This is my first Allison after 3 Bullets, but a lot more challenging for me to learn to drive. When I got the motor up where it needs to be the torque was unbearable for me.....(bypass surgery and my chest did not heal and they put me back together with 9 plates and 39 screws). So, I put on a SeaStar system, HH5272 helm, standard hoses, and HH5345 cylinder.

This steering really does not give me the "feel" I think I need. So far, I have not been able to drive the boat and I have had the jackplate up and down. It seems to be unpredictable, not anticipation on the chine walk. Maybe it is just me.

Should I take out my standard Seastar system and put in the Seastar Pro System with Kevlar hoses? Or Allison's hydraulic system?

My old Bullet would outrun me today! Thanks for your help!
