    ALLISON OWNERS

Before today I have never rode in an Allison boat. Let me say anyone who has an Allison you have made an awesome selection.I have heard Lee brag and brag about Allison's and until today I thought he was exagerating.80 mph thru wakes we were talking....not hollering and I could have drank a cup of coffee while we were going over another boats wakes...I have a Triton but my next boat will be an Allison, not for the speed but for the ride...even though the speed was awesome also...

    Hey Louis,
    Welcome to the Allison forum.
People can talk about how these boats ride ubtil they're blue in the face but no one really believes them until they experence it for themselves, you can always tell the guys that have never rode in one, they're the ones going around saying they'd never own one of those rough riding Allisons. Little do they know how silly they sound to those that know the truth.

I was a skeptic also but my first ride in one was after I bought one.

Most people have NO idea as to the ride quality that you get from an ALLISON. Just because they're light people have a misconception that they must ride rough........NOTHING could be further from the truth.
The ALLISONs have a deep, steep keel that slices through the waves with very little resistence. Unless you actually ride in one and discover the truth for yourself......you'll NEVER believe how good they ride.
People talk about other boats, BIGGER boats.......mainly BULLET boats (21') being the best riding bass boat on the market........I say SHOW ME THE $$$$$$$

A 2002 or a 2003 with a skilled driver will run with any BASS boat on the market in the rough stuff

I believe the BULLET, BLAZER, GAMBLER and a few others are better overall fishing platforms.......but I don't believe the ride could surpass that of the A-CRAFT

    Re: ALLISON OWNERS (SHADOW2.4)

    Hi Louis,

I wanted a Allison for bout 15 years before I rode in one last 4th July... September I went and finally got me one!!! I rode in a 91 XTB21 and it absolutly freakin amazed me how these boats ride... I like everyone else was skepticle about the it, after ridin in one on a holiday weekend, I was sold!!! I had a 19 ft ChampioN at the time and I like to beat myself to death trying to run in rough water after the Alli ride... Once you get ya an Alli, there is no OTHER brand period... The quality they put in these boats is not comparable to any other that I've seen.... Quality, ride, handleing, fuel economy, storage, fit and finish....ONE word... AWESOME! I just wish I'd done it sooner!!!

Yeah I have a Triton TR 186 dc and was out with Lee and Robbie trying an FNR prop for me and also setting up a 929 nitro and test running the Allison.I wanted to leave mt boat and keep the Allison. It was just amazing at the way the Allison performed, rode and how quiet the air was going around me ....we could talk to each other and not yell..After being in the Nitro I will never own a nitro....bottom line is it sucks.Gotta keep my Triton for now...all I can afford for now but hopefully I will be an Allison owner in a few years. wow...almost got sick there.lol

    Re: ALLISON OWNERS (SHADOW2.4)

Most of the time when you hear an allison coming, it sounds like you are beating it with a baseball bat , but that is just the way they are. I had an xb21 I bought from Lee. The first time out I drove over 90 mph and Lee was crapping his pants. I was letting her ripp. At those speeds you surely have to learn how to drive but in the end Lee and I were fine. Going that fast is awsome.
