Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

Bill Self deserves it, but who else did "they" screw? Bill Self did an amazing job with that Kansas team that lost a ton from last year.

Don't believe there is another coach worthy of the honor. Heck, preseason weren't they picked to finish 5th in the Big 12. I must say he definitely has earned the name "coach"! Would love to of heard some of his halftime talks....
Sacred Heart of Mary, pray for us now, and at the hour of our death. AMEN
O blood and water which gush forth from the heart of Jesus, have mercy on us
For the sake of his sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and the whole world

I have no idea whatsoever how Tom Crean did not get any recognition from the Big10 or was not in the top four for the Naismath award. Yes this is coming from an IU fan, but all the "experts" didn't think they would be where they were at until next year and IU made the Sweet 16 this year..
Go ahead everyone.. pound away, cause I know someone will come along and let me know how wrong I am...

I think Crean has done a good job, and I'm not saying this to bash him but just my opinion on why he wouldn't have been considered for awards.

I'd give it to Crean on recruiting, (If it was about recruiting Calipari would get it) but not so much on improving the team through the season. Remember, IU was 11-7 in 5th place in the conference, only one game ahead of Purdue who really sucked this year, and the only games IU won in the tournament were over a 12 and 13 seed.

4 of Kansas' 6 losses were to Kentucky, Duke, at Missouri and at Baylor and they won their conference over Missouri and Baylor.

In relation to IU being 5th place in the conference, the Big10 was one of the hardest conference hands down.
In relation to IU only winning against a 12 and a 13, IU cant help they were seeded a 4 and beat a 12. The 13 seed was against VCU who was in the Final Four last year and gave Kentucky a hell of a game in the round of 16.
    Congrats to Bill Self
