Late last year I picked up my first limit in my fourth season of bass fishing, and my first year as a boater. I capped off the year with my first ever win, as part of a team, in our annual season-ending buddy tournament. I got this season started with my first solo win, with another limit.
Some of you guys may remember me starting a thread about pre fishing for this event, or whether i should just take the day to go to another lake that I simply like better. You talked me into prefishing... Well it turns out that the tournament got moved from the lake i prefished (construction) to another nearby lake that I'd been to a couple of times years ago. Having no recent experience to go on, I stuck with the basics, dropped the trolling motor and went fishing. I got a couple bites early on that put an idea in my head and I stuck to that, catching fish the same way all day.
I really didn't start this thread to brag, I just wanted to thank BBC for all the tips and advice that helped me put this little streak together.![]()
