Haven't had a chance to take the boat out yet but had to wet a line this week. A buddy and I stopped and fished a local creek after work yesterday, he was trying for crappie and I worked the banks and rocks with jigs for Bass. No crappie to be found but I stuck a few of these...had a good time!
Thats a great creek fish anywhere! We dont have many largemouth in ours, but there are lots of 12-18 in smallmouth and some pretty dang big spots as well.
Anyway, NICE fish.
Can't beat creek fishing sometimes, i have alot of great memories creek fishing.
Some of my best smallies have came from creeks, and have caught several largies over 4 on creeks.
