    Boat Buckle...awesome CS

I wrote them as my 10 yr old boat..the retractable buckles are broken. I did not ask for anything, just what I needed to replace them. This was their reply. I also asked about the transom tie downs:

Thank you for contacting us. I can send you 2 replacement end pieces for your RodBuckles. I'll get them in the mail for you today. As for your transom tie-downs, we are simply the manufacturer and don't sell any of our products direct so you would need to go through a dealer or a retailer. Let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Did the plastic tabs that hold the clips in the end of the straps break? Tha t has happened to mine, maybe I need to contact them. Now for the hijack- Do you know how to access the retractable strap installed under the gunwale?

I have one plastic tab broke and the pull strap is missing from the other. I have no idea how to access it. I guess I will figure it out.

totally awesome!! Here is the reply I got on how to just replace the ends:

It’s a little difficult to explain how to replace the ends in an e-mail but you will understand once you receive them. Basically, the plastic piece has a slit in it that you can’t see because the strap covers it. If you actually pinch back the strap, you will see a slit in the middle of the plastic piece that you can feed the strap through to remove it and put the new end on. I mailed them this morning so you should see them soon. Thanks.

Putting a clown in the castle doesn't make him a king, it turns the castle into a circus

update....received my new buckles...totally free. I swapped them out in 2 mins am good to go! I was looking at the headache of ordering all new retractable systems to replace since the buckles was bad. That was gonna be about $80 easy. On a whim, I wrote the company to see what I needed to order and she sent me what I need...FOR FREE. I never asked for anything free.

That is how you earn business in the future!
