Get a map, stay in the channel and be damn careful when you leave it. Percy Priest is a real prop eater.

Get on I 24 west and head to KY lake.![]()
The pump station area normally holds fish. With this warm winter I'd look for the dark mud banks and throw jigs, jerk baits or rattle baits. One of the three should work. Don't be afraid to get shallow. Gold/black used to work well for me when the water got muddy on those sloping mud banks and I had avacodo colored jigs tied for spring on that lake.
The big flats right around the corner from four corners used to be pretty good this time of year as well.
Once summer gets here Priest gets tough. The other three seasons it used to be OK.
Thanks guys
where is the pump station?
up in the river . when you going ?

See the fist little island on the right as you leave Four Corners. IDLE or TM trough there and see what you find in that cove with a little shad rap or rattle trap, then slide over to the back side of the net island out toward the creek leading to the main channel. If nothing there go to the back of the cove where Hopson Pike crosses it says Tilham Cemetery in the back. There are a couple old road beds back there. there are several on the right before you get out to the main channel leaving Four Corners if you look!
WHen you leave the Hopson Pike Bridge on the Map going towards Fate Sanders. You see a real sharp bend in the Lake to the left around Couchville Pike That;s the main lake. Dn't cut that corner!
Keep going straight on the map to the right of an island you'll see a point and a building sitting on the point. That's the pump station area. Several points, drops, and flats there. If you use Google Maps with a lake map you'll see it real easy.
Best of luck.
