    A- Rig madness

Pulled out at the ramp yesterday and a guy with a shoebox full of A-Rigs asked me if I needed any. I told him I didn't fish them and he said "well what do you use to catch bass?" Like I was crazy or something. Note... I have no problem with them it just isn't for me and there are other lures that will catch a few bass.

My reply would have been, I didn't come here to catch Bass, just came here to show off my Boat.

    Re: A- Rig madness (skyduck)

My dad says a guy at his work is selling them home-made for $15 a piece and is making tons of money doing it. Says he sells at least 5 a day. Heck I made mine for $1.80 each. I should open a bait shop that just sells A-rigs for $5 a piece and I could quit the day job.

When the patent office finally issues the patents on all the variations it's gonna get ugly

They told him they have assigned a single specific person to the "umbrella rig" cases since there have been so many applications recently. Still waiting for an update

    Re: (T Dub)

it's going to be tough to hand down a pat. on something that's been used in saltwater for decades..... maybe a ruling on head design or arm length, but even the original a-rig was a copy.....
