Buckling in anxious for this weather to pass.

This is nuts. It feels like were under attack or something. Constant waves of Tornado warnings non stop thunder and lighting. Two years in a row of this and thinking a storm shelter might be a good investment.

It really hits you when you start grabbing blankets and pillows and seriously thinking where is the safest place in your home. This is nothing like your typical thunder storms. It is just a violent non stop barraging of wind and hail.

Great investment....we're looking into them now....my neighbor had one installed in his garage floor after last April. Thinking of looking into those a little bit harder for sure now cause this crazy weather is driving me nuts as well......

I know what I'd do. I'd buy an old bus or motor home and bury it in the backyard. Put in concrete stairway down to the door, and buckle up. A little late now, but for future reference...

Can those be put in existing structure or does it have to be put in during build. Would be interested in one myself.. I just assume you could cut concrete in garage floor and put on in, then re- pour, but that would be pretty big job. Geez these storms are rough . Cant begin to imagine what Branson and Illinois went thru.
