After an unfortunate incident with wind, waves and a crappy dock, I now have some new scratches and a need for better boat fenders. Anybody used these? I think the guy that invented them was at Lake of the Ozarks. They definitely know docks and waves there.

No, I never did. I still wonder about them, and I may eventually get a set.
I have a set and really like them, BUT the dock has to be a decent height. Too many docks I go to are high off the water leaving the possiblility of a wave getting your boat under it. Product itself works well.
I have a set of them, I had the original set for over 10 years now the new ones are much better. I highly recommend them

My old set said Ranger on them. A Dremel took care of that. I use those along with a set of the flat foam ones. Some days it seems like no matter what you do it's not enough.
