This is the second time in about a month that these crazy shipping charges get me. I ordered a shroud for my console and it was 164 bucks for shipping from Tennessee to California, I guarantee the box weighs more than the shroud 10lbs at the most all together. Damn I'm P.O'd when I get the package and see what company it was, I probably wont use them for anything personally anymore. I'm done!
Always ask how much shipping is before you give them the money. Who the hell charges that much for shipping? You sure it wasnt a mistake and supposed to me $16.40 shipping?

oh yeah I'm sure! I did ask about shipping prior but I was told that the shipping cost could not be giving til it was ready to ship. And I was just to my wits end on this whole console thing, so I figured I'd bite the bullet but the bullet stings like hay!

I've noticed the shipping and handling charges to be higher on "Cheaper priced items". A scam to be able to advertise a lower price than others.
I'm learning to check it all out first.

I have shipped trolling motors for wayyyyy les then that. Sounds like someone made a nice profit.

I will never, NEVER give my debit card number to anyone until I am sure of the charges. I have actually finished an order with a company, went to check-out, and when I saw the shipping charges I just cancelled the order.
We ALL make mistakes. That's not dumb. Not LEARNING from our mistakes is dumb.
Maybe the company in Tennessee considers it's shipping out of country when shipping to California.

Trying to be nice and not name the seller . I'm not sure the seller is actually responsible for the high shipping charge. But you can bet I'm gonna find out though. I mean..... I can see an additional charge for an odd shaped box but come on...........
Just paid less than $75 to have 100 pounds of electronic drum equipment sent from South Carolina. 2 separate boxes. Sounds like they may have sent it via motor freight. Might be their policy for larger items. I also get drums of plastic shipped cheaper than that from farther away

Never use a debt card --use a CC, debt card someone can empty your account in a second.
That's alot for shipping, I bought a new trolling motor and it was shipped 600 miles for 40.00 and it was a 109 Tour MG

Thought about it.......but mine was so bad I'll just deal with it and I'm sure once I get it back together I'll be a happy camper
