Very poor choice using a gun in the video. This makes him look like a threat in this day & age

I would say it was a poor choice OF gun.... he shoulda used a 12 gauge with 00 buckshot in it.

I have absolutely no issues what so ever with the way he handled the matter with his child. What's the difference if he used a gun, a hammer, his truck tire, or any other tool to take that computer out of his childs hand? This is a parent that is sending a very clear message to a child that thinks she is "entitled".
Our children have been taught that in order to get something in our home you have to earn it. They also know that if they want to keep something that we have provided them that they need to maintain themselves in a manner that we think is respectful.
If more parents would stand up and do the right thing in their childrens lives they will grow up much quicker and respect how things work in life!
If you want something in life, EARN it. If you want to keep it, RESPECT us, yourselves, and your family name. Kudos to dad!![]()
I think this is awesome...He should also beat his daughters ass on the video!

Accountability, consequences, discipline, ethics, morals. Life slaps kids pretty hard who grow up without them. You can only hope they don't get hurt before they figure out nobody owes them anything. No free rides. No entitlement. While his method is debatable/questionable, the message is clear.....crystal.

I don't have a problem with the video at all. Maybe some of todays parents could follow his lead. Now for the people that think his daughter is going to be scarred for life and become a serial killer, here is his FB response. Read it all, you might learn something else about parenting. https://www.facebook.com/tommyjordaniii/p

All Im saying about the gun issue is that him using a gun in frustration on video is not going to help him if the daughter chooses to get revenge or get even. CPS would frown upon the gun portion
