I work for a fairly large company and have never even heard of someone taking a piss test, so I would like to know (honestly) how often you have to piss to keep your job. I think I would have to re evaluate who I was working for if they didn't trust me enough to go more than 30 days without taking another piss test.
Once per year for everyone unless they are suspected of drug activity

Some people in the Mining and Construction Industries here may be subjected to drug or alcohol testing.
Once a month everyones name goes into a random drawing and some lucky person gets to go. I had to do it a few months ago, first time in 2.5 years except when I first got hired on.
Depends on what kind of job you have and company insurance requirements.

YOU DONT have a dot job then im on a random testing anytime anywhere FAA regulated been at my job 15 years tested 10-12 times i dont care if they trust me or not as long as the check clears
Usually when you are injured on the job, even if not your fault.
And if suspected of use during work.
Random but will gladly do it as often as my company wants.I work at a nuclear power station and don't want to think anyone working there would test positive.

I've been drawn at random 4 times in 18 years. All new hires and anyone injured on the job gets tested. Among new hires, 10 to 20 percent fail.
Last job I had required a lie detector session.
I have to take one at least every 6 months. The last thing you want is a drug addict on a drilling rig.
If you are ashamed to stand by your colors, you had better seek another flag.

It might not be the company you work for, as much as a requirement of the insurance company.

I never have. I have a friend who's job requires it after an injury and knew a guy who did blasting at a mine and had 2 randoms a month.
We have random testing sometimes once a month sometimes twice and you don't know until the morning you walk in and the first thing they say is be a city hall in 15 minutes!
Random for me. I've gone two years without one and then have had several within a three month period. If you get injured, it's mandatory.

All the darn time in the Air Force. I was even called in when I was off duty to piss test had to put on the uniform go pee and then come back home.
