Best Reel $100 or less

Looking to get a new reelbut want to keep it at $100 or less as I am just trying to get one last reel for a rod I have. I am looking for a 6.3:1 or similar for multipurpose situations. I have been using a lot of Diawa Exceler and BPS Extremes in the past. But considering something else. What's your favorite?

BPS Pro Qualifier. I have read about reel techs talking nice about them.

Gotta say for less than $100 the BPS Pro Qualifier is a nice reel. I have one now and its only second to my Zillion.

Take a look at the Lew's Speel Spool for $100. Gonna be hard to find a better reel at that pricepoint.

    LEW's

However, there have been some smoking deals on close out sales around KC.

Buy 2 H2O Mettles. They outcast my ZIllion, Curados, Citica, President, Patriarch, and Supreme!

Re: Best Reel $100 or less (krainium)

I really like the Lews speed spools. I bought two of the H2O mettle reels on black friday for 24.99. They are normally 49.99. They are decent reels for the money but they are not near as good as the Lews.

I have several Quantum Energy PTs ($189) that I love. But lately I've been buying Lew's Speed Spools and they're just as smooth for $89. I absolutlely love the Lew's!

In all honesty that is probably a good real. I have no problem with BPS reels. My 2nd favorite real EVER is a discontinued BPS reel.

BUT bearing count has little to do with how smooth a reel is, or how long it will last.

Re: Best Reel $100 or less (bplgocards)

Thanks guys. I might give a pro qualifier a go. I get down the Springfield to the main BPS every other month and I noticed last time in their catalog outlet store they had a bunch of them for $60 I think. I believe they are just returns that might of had cosmetic blemishes.
