    Retirement for nhbass

Travis has retired...from the New Hampshire Jr Bassmasters. He is now 18 and has "aged out". But not before he collected the 2011 NH Jr Bassmaster Angler of The Year trophy-and the 2011 NH State championship. He'll be fishing the BASS Eastern Divisional, held in Boston on the Charles and Mystic Rivers, in September.

At the NH Federation Nation Banquet last night he is pictured with John Foster, NH BASS Fed Nation president, and Ray Meyer, long-time NH Youth Director.

In his time with the Jr Bassmasters Travis was State Champ and Angler Of The Year 5 out of 6 years. He learned to give back by mentoring several of the kids as well as volunteering for PVA events. Good job boy!

It was great seeing you guys again at the banquet.Travis is a credit to the youth program the way he is willing to help the other kids out, not to mention his angling skills. Great job by you and your wife, he's a great young man.
Not much of a dancer though.

Putting a clown in the castle doesn't make him a king, it turns the castle into a circus

I thought all kids could dance these days. At least he has a long time to learn.
