Lookin at buyin a used boat.

Hey i'm lookin at a 1993 20.6 swift with a 200hp merc. and I was wondering if you all had any advice on swift boats of what I should be lookin at. I don't know how to post pics or I would show you. It's a very nice lookin boat for around 7thousand. Just don't know much about swift boats.

Yeah I don't know much about Swifts specifically but I think thats far too much for that much age.

I have a 96 Stratos with a 225 I could let go for $7,500

I would stay away from them- I once got a finger cut on a sharp unfinished trim piece on a Swift boat, but at least I got a Purple Heart out of the deal.

No lol I was just kidding, I'm hoping to restore the old gal one of these days a little wet sanding, new seats and carpet and I believe she could turn a few heads. Not the fastest boat but its fast enough for me and does well in the rough stuff.

It's likely not even worth half of the asking price. That boat is now 19 years old!!!
