So, we've all seen the "caught on video" tv shows that show the surveilance videos in the convience stores where the car comes crashing thru the front door...right?? Happened to me yesterday.
I was in a local store getting some supplies for work. I couldn't find what I needed so I asked the counter guy for some help. We're walking around the store which is about 900 sq.ft. We're not finding what I need so we move to the other side of the store. Not 10 seconds later a Toyota Tacoma comes crashing thru the front window. We didn't see it coming and the other guy and I heard the massive crash and got out of the way as fast as we could. That $hit happened so fast and my heart about came out my throat. I was standing in that spot 10 seconds ago.
Apperantly the guy was trying to make a u-turn in the parking lot and hit the gas instead of the brake. So it didn't come thru the window real fast...maybe like 15mph but still. Holy crap. More than half the truck made it inside. My life didn't flash before my eyes...probably because it was boring.
Anyway, that was the excitment for my day. Guess I should go play the lottery.
