Possible Fuel Pump Problem on Johnson 200?

I have a 200hp Johnson model VJ200SLESE motor that is not getting fuel. I have pumped the bulb until it's tight and pushed the key in to prime it when cranking but it will not fire off. I have also checked the in-line filter and it is clear for fuel to travel. The line had fuel in both sides when I pulled it off. I sprayed started fluid in the intake and the motor fired off and ran for a second or two then died. I have checked each cylinder for compression and everything is fine there. I have also checked each plug and they are fine as well. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Carefully remove the upper hose from the VRO/OMS and see if any fuel comes out this goes to the fuel manifold to the carbs no schamokin'' Also check your primer solenoid and make sure the red maintennance lever is pointing down.

see if you have fuel at any of the carb bowls. On the front there is a large brass plug unscrew one and see if fuel comes out. repeat the process on all carbs could be a stuck float bowl.

The quickest way to check it is to prime the bulb, apply pressure to the bulb, then turn over and hit the engine primer while still holding pressure on the bulb. The primer works off of the fuel pump pressure, if the fuel pump is failed, the engine will not fire unless pressure is maintained on the bulb.

As CM posted, remove the carb drain screws, If the motor has been stored for any time the fuel system may be full of oil.

The oil tank has a vent in the cap but it only vents air in, not out, if pressure builds up in the tank it will force oil into the fuel system and the motor will not run on oil alone.

Thanks for all the help and quick responses guys. It turned out to it needed a new jet kit on one of the carburetors and they had water and oil in them from sitting up so long. It runs like a champ now. Thanks again everyone.
