    spinnerbait fisherman step inside...

Am I the only one who does this? When retrieving the bait I don't crank the reel handle I crank the rod while holding the handle steady. It gives more action because of the rod tip moving up and down slightly during the retrieve. A buddy saw me doing this and said that was the oddest thing he's ever seen, maybe 'cause I was catching while he was watching.

I do the same thing. Kind of wears your forearm out. Watch KVD and what he does.

I try to find what works. Reel and let fall, ripping it or slow roll. I've caught more ripping it in the muddy water here. I'm under the impression a spinner is a reaction type bait.
