    Carrot stix

Web site has been "Under Construction" since December or longer, whats up with that? If you can't register a rod I guess they don't have to warranty it.

    Re: Carrot stix (mark-o)

The warranty wasn't much good anyway was it? By the time you pay to ship the rod in and pay for the replacement exchange you might as well buy another rod. I think the Wild 7'2" light rod I bought last year was a good value but I can't say I'd pay over $100 for a Carrot Stix.

I'm wondering the same, I have a rod that I need to turn in for warranty, and not getting any response, I guess all the speculation about the company before wasn't speculation but truth

their warranty is baloney. i tried to get in touch with them about it and they would not even acknowledge my existence, they are based in canada to avoid the criminal justice system here in the states i guess. stay away from this company they are not honorable people.

My bud is on his second replacement rod. He had the saltwater version, and both broke on a hook set with smaller fish. That's all I needed to know to stay away. His latest replacement took about 8 months go get back to him. Needless to say, he's done with them.

    Re: (snoopy)

Thanks that works, the card on the rod has carrotstix.com. Must have gotten a good deal on the misprinted warranty cards.

I have 7 of their rods and have never had any kind of issue with any of them. Just my experience, though. I love em!

I have some rods that I made out of steamed asparagus. They are very forgiving and don't usually break, but the grocery store has no problem with replacing them. Just walk in, take what you need, and walk out.

It amazes me sometimes why these old threads are brought back to life. This is one of those times.

A good friend drank their KoolAde and still uses a couple of them every time we go out...............they are slowly being replaced by Dobyn's rods.

We sold a ton of them when I worked at Gander. One guy claimed they were so sensitive you could feel a butterfly fart. Another said it was a good upgrade from an ugly stick. So I’m sure they were somewhere inbetween those extremes
